Weddings cost too much. The food is too expensive. The flowers are too expensive. The dresses, oh man, don't get me started on the dresses.

Now here's the part where I tell you that wedding photography is not expensive. I tell you the standard line about how only photographs last, while food turns moldy, flowers rot, and dresses go in a box. I tell you that the only daily reminder you will have of your wedding is the portrait on the wall. Therefore you should pay me whatever I ask.

But I am not going to do that. I have a very simple philosophy on pricing. I do not charge more to cover your wedding and I do to cover the Super Bowl. Both are giant events and I put the same amount of work into both.

I charge $2000 for wedding day coverage. I don’t worry about the number of hours involved. I cover the entire day, from beginning to end.

Package includes:

• 300 to 700 images, depending on the wedding
• 4 x 6 Proofs of all images
• 1 DVD containing all of the original files at full resolution
• 1 DVD of your images set to your wedding music
• 1 8x10 or 11x14 coffee table quality wedding album

My past clients will tell you that I could charge a lot more. I know many photographers that do. I just don’t know why.
